Biography
Gregor Prächt is a versatile tenor and musician who has made his mark as a lyricist, composer and producer.
Gregor already showed his musical talent at a young age. At the age of only 11, he made his first public appearance as a "child of the people" at the Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt. One year later, he already had his first solo part in a children's opera at the opera house. At the age of 15, Gregor sang in the United States Army Gospel Choir and led his own band until he graduated from high school. Gregor Prächt was the youngest tenor ever to perform at the Salzburg Festival/Easter Gala.
He received his musical education from renowned teachers such as Maestro Miguel Baraldes and Maestro Carlo Bergonzi, an outstanding tenor and principal singing partner of Maria Callas, from whom he earned his diploma.

He is the original voice of the animated series Simsala Grimm which has been broadcast in over 30 countries since its release in 1999.
His repertoire ranges from the great tenor arias and songs in opera and concert halls to his own compositions and light music. He is especially proud of his song "My Song Lives On," which he wrote for the real Queen of Hawaii, Queen Lili'uokalani. This work has brought him together with officials in Germany and Hawaii.
